This was originally requested by KeyWorld.

I believe this could go under "mods" but it's basically for "other" projects that implement RO related things, such as roBrowser and anything else that may be in development :)

@topic

+1

But need some rules to determine with community:

  • Only relative to RO (yeah)
  • Not for pServer (yeah)
  • Allow paid services (don't know)
  • Allow hosting (don't know)
  • [insert here other suggestion]

@Maki

Don't know. In my case I prefer manage content in my website instead of having multiple pages to update each time.

+1, I agree with every point, even if I'm against paid services.

No developer or project team wants to refresh content on multiple sites. Its enough to take care of requests and answering questions on multiple websites.

Actually for me its there's a requirements before you can make/post any paid services..

You must contribute to eASF first.... like free release 2-3 scripts and some snippets.

For the paid services, I really do hope we can contribute a list of scammers since we all know there are a lot of them in eathena. Hopefully in paid service section they can at least donate a certain amount like 5$ or 10$ to the community and maybe those funds will be used for further projects (ie. getting own hosting ) etc. They can or maybe the admin team can approve their advertisements like banners or whatever to a certain extent that their banners must be in this size to make sure the forums will still load fast. Hopefully before approving anyone on the Paid section they must have 1. Legit website 2. Privacy policy 3. TOS and AUP 4. Contact information 5. Refund/Return/Cancellation Policy 6. Samples of work done 7. Referrals by previous clients.

I think it's actually more of a "Community" type deal... it has to deal with RO but not directly related to the emulator as a mod

Should it go under:

eAthena Downloads

+ Other Projects

probably not under "eAthena Support"

Modifications Support & Releases

+ Other Projects could fit under here too, but that category has "Support" in the title

Community

+ Other Projects it could fit here too

I'm still thinking community, if it's not technically a MOD to something, it's an addition... as far as downloads, it's not eAthena related per se... if it isn't a download to the emulator, so my vote is still under community
