So, aside from being a potato law enforcer, I also host events as a GM. Since I find events through commands mainstream, I decided to create my own event maps.

 

This is a simple event maze I made for some server. I am expecting "no brains" or "you lack ideas" type of criticisms. LMAO

 

 

 

This is the assembly area. Players will go down the stairs, walk, take a U-turn, and head to the portal which will lead them to the maze start. The NPC over there is the control for the portal. A GM will talk to the NPC to start the event(make the portal to the maze appear).

Somewhere around the maze. If I am not mistaken because I did not really care about how big the maze is, the maze alone could be the same size as Geffen.

Well it's good enough for what it's intended.  Not much to critique, nice rewards room!  And at least you did it for yourself, you know?  

 

=]  Was it fun?  I hate doing mazes, was asked to do one and I never finished it.

Looks pretty nice. Though the fog is a bit overbearing, can you turn it off with /fog or is it forced?

If you call mashing Ctrl + , and Ctrl + . for hours fun, yes it was. HAHAHA

 

Though the fog is a bit overbearing, can you turn it off with /fog or is it forced?

 

The fog is from the @mapflag command. It can be turned off using /effect. :-)

Don't be silly nub Nova. Fog is necessary. Makes traversing a bit more difficult. It's a bit dry in terms of content, but the concept is good. Fog definitely a good touch in my opinion.

I just realized I read your comment the wrong way, you mean for the walls Hitting ctrl and . or ctrl and , I thought you meant you also held down the + sign hahaha.

Haha I don't think I've ever played RO with /fog turned on. Bothers me so much.

There isnt in brow edit a maze generator?

 

That feature generates more of a maze dungeon that resemble the Pyramids and it fills the whole map. LOL

I find these things are sometimes not exactly what you want.  I really hate the cave dungeon generator, its terrible.

There's something of a punishment in here. A multi-level maze dungeon players have to traverse as a sort of 'jail.' They're free to go once they get out. Make it more of a hell by having traps that activate and kill the player and send them back to the start.
