    if you download it from here http://rathena.org/board/topic/54190-release-basic-rathena-client/, it should work. if not, download it and use that instead for it has the same client version

    yes you can resolve this. im using the rathena latest version if thats what you mean. you can create yet you cant log-in, yes its a packet mismatch. lets fix this first before jumping into a higher client version. hmm well try this, 1. download the client from here http://rathena.org/b...rathena-client/ 2. #define PACKETVER 20110315 on mmo.h 3. //packet_db_ver: 23 packet_ver: 28 then re-compile it. make sure you run make clean first if you are using linux. on your clientinfo.xml change this <version>25</version> into <version>28</version> then run the server, and try logging in.

    it should packet_ver: 28 for 20110315 if your packet db for 20111116 does not exist, you cant even create a character. so i assume its working. have you seen some error messages found on the shell after selecting a character? if so, you need a packet db version for 20111116 edit: you mean you are using 2011-08-24bRagExeRe client and put #define PACKETVER 20111116 on mmo.h?

    i think it should work fine. try using much more older client like 20110315, the stable one to see if its all working. if its working, then your 20111116 diffed incorrectly.

    I agree to your last paragraph databits. For what I understand, comments like "//this function should do the circling" or "//needs a clean code revision" is a good practice and should be always followed. if anything more to that that is unnecessary should not be included like "// he-he-he this is funny" or "//coded by hackmenot" and the worst i encounter "//your such a noob mr.xxx. go look and find me ". however, it is good to put that thingy if its just to make a temporary marker where your last touch is and should be again removed if its not useful anymore.

    Lighta is right. And its a good practice to have it commented and documented. For it will be very useful in the future. Lighta must be an experienced person for he felt the importance of it. And just incase you guys retired, new developer can maintain it so easily. This is indeed a warning..

Version 1.1 includes cards for costumes. Cards that are assigned for headgears tab 1 are can now be also use for headgears tab 2, a.k.a costumes.     Hi, Is it possible to attached a card to the costume items? Ive tried and yet the item who has a slot doesn't show on the menu when I double click the card. Thanks.. Edit: Its not. Now i know I added support for the costumes refine and card instead. http://rathena.org/b...r-card-support/

    thanks Can you share it anyway? I would translate it back. Well, i just made the quest_db and questid2display entries for those people who are 2 lazy to make it, because he forget to share them ._. note: they are only for the lvl 86-90 quests, ill also make the other entries if they are still needed. note2: i'm not sure about the 3 hours delay, i set it to 10800 = 3 hours in seconds. Thanks for sharing! Yeah, 91-99 is needed I believe. level 71 and up 3 hours delay indeed
