  1. I can't seem to figure out how modify base exp anymore. It used to be just modify the exp.txt with the max level you wanted and the conf for the aura level and you were good to go. However, now I can't get it to work at all. I can modify it up to 160 with no problem using the re/job_exp.txt or even lower it below 160 if I want, but I cannot raise it above 160 or it will tell me that I am missing the base exp tables for every job in it. I have tried restarting and even recompiling each time I tried to make a change. Somebody told me to look in the mmo.h to do it but I have had no luck. I do believe it has to be a src fix. When I change it to level 255 I get an error on my map server. [Error]: pc_readdb_job_exp: Invalid maxlevel 255 specified. [Error]: sv_readdb: Could not process contents of line 13 of "db/re/job_exp.txt Peopleperson49 Edit: Other things I tried to do were modifying the pre-re version and the re/job_maxhpsp_db.

  3. As for spaces in guilds or other stuff as long as the space is an allowed character in names then it should work. If you can put the space in character names then guild names should work. However, that might not be the problem, I had the exact problem you described above not that long ago and it wasn't an issue with the client hexing. My packet_db was incorrect for my client. As soon as I got the correct packet version the problem magically when away! Peopleperson49
  4. I have seen it on another server a while back and they said that it was a source mod they did to remove the skill name from over the head of players. However, I will ask a friend about this being a possible client item also. Thanks. Peopleperson49

  6. It won't break the game since you have to choose to make mobs do this. As long as they don't implement in any mobs in the mod_db than its just a very nice feature! I myself will probably make the golden theif bug fall under this setting. Also my king of emperium hill script will probably use it to make the emperium truely immune to skills. I also like it how you modified the plants with it! Peopleperson49
  7. This is pretty cool would be a nice option to add offically. Give admin more flexibility expecially if you are trying to spawn something similar to an emperium. Would probably also eliminate people from using the monks triple attack skills. Peopleperson49
  8. Every time a skill is used the name is on top of the players head. How do I remove that from happening, but keep the animation for it. I want to remove it from a couple specific skills at a minimum, but all would be nice. Thanks. Peopleperson49
  9. I installed it and tested it out. No errors at all. Even played it some. Its pretty cool, but I don't like how automated it is. I perfer to click stuff myself. The only advantage to automation is that it prevents a player from going afk during the game. Peopleperson49
  10. I'm not sure nobukadnezar the flags update for me on my server as soon as you go out of view of them. Do you get any errors or anything? You put it in like you would any other script. Boy, you just need to search around for a post somewhere if you don't know how to do that. Peopleperson49
  11. Dropalltab is pointless. I forgot that was even part of the patch. I removed it from mine a while ago. Just go with the @dropall <type> thats already there, I have been using it for a long time now and it works. Peopleperson49
  12. As I stated before this mod doesnt do anything the current version doesnt do. Its exactly the same just with the option to select specific type items. And unless your one of those super high rate servers I wouldnt give players the either version of the dropall command. Thel dropall command in general will not drop restricted or undropable items.   17. I suggest that Xantaras dropall mod be added to the svn. It allows you to drop specific types of items you may be holding. If you just use the standard @dropall it does the normal method of dropping everything. However, if for example you use @dropall 3 it will drop all etc type item you hold. Its an awesome mod ot the normal command and takes nothing away from the svn. Its actually a pretty small mod. It has nothing but good value to be added for server administrators. I believe others will feel the same way so I figured I would make a topic for it and see what others think about it. Thanks. Peopleperson49
  18. Mapflags are located in an NPC/mapflag folder not in the conf folder. That is why @reloadscript works. Peopleperson49

  20. I understand how to find it, but now users have to go out of there way to look for it in the timeline, when before it was there to view. Users basically got Appled, a feature was replaced with something they call better, not taking into account the people that rely on the older method, forcing you to upgrade. They might be in sync, but lately I have been able to view the changes in the Recent Revisoins box and not download the repository for another day or so. I will eventually learn to use github and so will others, but until then is it possible to track the svn revision numbers on the Recent Revision corresponding to the github change. Thanks.   23. I understand that rA seems to be more focused on using github for updates, but for me (and probably most users at this point in time) still use the svn repository for updates. On this note is it possible to start putting the current svn revision change numbers in the 'Recent Revision' box on the main page like you used to do? Also updates to the svn have been lagging behind the website which is another reason to put the revision numbers. It may indicate new updates are available in github, but there not available to download for a couple days later from the svn repository. Thanks. Peopleperson49
