Hello,

Currently I am using 20101228, which works okay. My ALT+X hotkeys are shifted by one, so to activate ALT+1 you need to press ALT+2 (anyone knows a fix for that?) and when I relog my character selection is always fixed at second page, first slot, regardless on what character I have played last.

I have tried different RagExes and just 20101228 worked "fine".. Can anyone tell me if its my fault and what RagExe is the best? Also what version do I have to enter in my clientinfo.xml for that RagExe you recommend?

I don't have much experience about those Exes, so please if you suggest one tell me all stuff I need (data, version in clientinfo, ...)

Thank you all!

No I wouldn't. What do I need to change to 2012-04-10?

I have downloaded and diffed the 20120410 exe, have set the packet_ver in my mmo.h and have put this data (v.3) http://rathena.org/board/topic/66962-basic-complete-renewal-data-english-folder/ in my folder.

But I cannot even connect to my server.. :/

Update to latest GIT (in case you updated long ago and don't have packets for 2012 client), download the executable from the client side, diff it as you like, find src/common/mmo.h and find the line where it says packetver:

#ifndef PACKETVER
   #define PACKETVER 20130807
   //#define PACKETVER 20120410
#endif

Change it to:

#ifndef PACKETVER
   //#define PACKETVER 20130807
   #define PACKETVER 20120410
#endif

Or follow the steps written on the wiki:

http://rathena.org/wiki/Connecting#Client_Side

http://rathena.org/wiki/Configure

I hope I didn't miss anything :)

I did this and recompiled. I diffed my 2012-04-10 exe with Shin's Diff Patcher with the recommended diffs, but I cannot even connect.

Did you make sure to switch to clientinfo.xml and not use sclientinfo.xml?

I am always using clientinfo.xml

Is sclientinfo.xml recommended for 2010-12-28 client I am currently using??

 I'm honestly not sure anymore...but if you're pre-renewal and using 2010 client I believe so

Just change the name to sclientinfo.xml?

Then I cannot connect anymore.

Isn't there a clientversion config somewhere on clientside as well? Perhaps in clientinfo.xml? It feels that we r missing something, but I can't check it now from work.

Another thing could be:

db/packet_db.txt

packet_db_ver: 30 //2012-04-10

Im not sure if this is neccessary, because the "default" value means highest available version..... but maybe this is the cause.
