wrong password for the root i think. check your mysql configuration.

Yes, when you setup MySQL it mentioned a "root" and prompted you to create a password. When setting up your configs it asks you for that information. It is caps specific as well.

or maybe unopened port? blocked by antivirus?

I guess his problem is: he has not turned the MySQL server on when he got this error. it has been a month and seems he is not coming back to his own thread..

here are some cause of the error..

1. Invalid user/password

2. Invalid schema

3. Mysql server is not yet started

4. the account doesn't have privileged to the schema

5. Wrong sql port
