Hello guys, this is for 2012-10-04 client.

 

Is there any updated client diff with support to the /h hardcoded strings on the client? Downloaded Swadon's Weediffgen but these wasn't included on the WDGTranslateClient.txt

I think it has been included on the latest diff file, you could use Yommy's XDiffGen  (or XDiffPatcher, I forgot which one)

Thanks nana for replying. Seems it isn't related to any hexing. Found a solution.

@njoZhulnahkrii: Keep in mind that you're trying to search for hex value, not a string, sometimes you have to check on the hex editor settings.

And also if you still can't find it, try to reduce/shorten your search.

the regular log and the battle log.
well what was written there was the Äɸ¯Å͸¸µé±â thing. somewhat like that.

what i did was, i double clicked on it and typed REGULAR LOG and BATTLE LOG.
i didn't hex it. 

so my concern is that. if someone will download the client. will it say REGULAR LOG and BATTLE LOG

or come out like this Äɸ¯Å͸¸µé±â kind of letters.

So anyway I haven't been here in like 3 years o_o and only recently started helping a friend with a server so I decided to cast some ressurection here since i'm client translating once again using the

Not sure what you mean by this i actually used xdifpatcher to patch myself a client i have not tried one from neomind o-o also im still trying to debug one issue with the navigation system still for some reason searching doesn't work it crashes the client so im not sure exactly what's causing it but seeing how it doesn't give an error to the map server i'm thinking it must be in regards to something that's changed lub wise. but regardless the client needs a proper translation for everything either way and hex codes can also be used in the future for future client patching.

Well, if I'm not mistaken his patcher is based on Yommy's xDiffPatcher, but it's more advanced, you should try it sometimes if you have time.

Navigation System for 2012?

talking about the navigation system for 2013 clients cause i'm using the latest one supported i believe unless theres still issues with the navigation system on this specific client that i'm unaware of i'm guessing it could be something error related based on lua's or something but im not sure.

 

Scratch that I figured out what the issue now that i started decompiling my own lub's for navigation I'm just working on learning how they put together the navigation so I can add more of the new npc's to the navigation and working on making custom npc's for navigation as well. I noticed quite alot is still missing translation too so ive been working on that but I will get back to translating the client more again as well. Client's also tricky because while some things work fine with windows 7 some of the changes effect windows 8 slightly differently so I've been invesitating what might be the cause of this as well o-o

Well it's used to hold your 'misc' items, such as the items dropped from mobs and for quests. If it's too big, you can shorten the name to just "M"
