I have a dedicated server for RO and a webhost for my website. My website allows Outgoing port to be opened but not incoming. doesnt it need both to work ? i wanted to know this before i transfer to this new webhost. I figured website sent request out but doesnt it need the incoming reply ?

FluxCP uses a socket approach to pinging ports. This means you only need to be able to send outbound traffic to those ports - FluxCP doesn't require a pong event, so the incoming ports are irrelevant. The way FluxCP checks if your servers are online/offline is by using PHP fsockopen() function. In order for this to work, your webhost needs to allow outgoing connections on the RO ports (6900, 6121, 5121). TCP. The RO client & server actually use both TCP and UDP, but all control panels I have seen use PHP's fsockopen function and only check the TCP port.
