What would happen if...

Gravity decides to encrypt their grf?

We all know they are capable of doing that.

Imo, emulator / client development wont end there.

But it would be so much work trying to somewhat keep up with them.

This might be the time we actually see unique contents.

Made by individuals (pServer owners / devs).

they'd be able to do a high variety of things, they could have stopped botting, they could have made clients a pain to be used by us, emus, by randomizing their packet table on every client update or so, they could've done much more including what you suggest, but they don't seem to care.

@OP: Are you saying my content releases aren't unique? I'm deeply hurt. y u do this 2 mi 4?

In all seriousness, though, I've been waiting ages for someone to organize an attempt at a new world within RO for ages with regular content updates, while preserving the game mechanics. Even if it was just sprite recolors (as I'm so fond of using/creating), and maps put together using pre-existing models released by Gravity, I'd be satisfied. Though, I will say that I've been head over heels for what's been released for Eclage and Port Malaya thus far. So cute. ;;

Here's my thoughts:

- Humans do things, a lot of things

- Humans can UNdo things

(it doesn't makes sense) /omg

I don't even understand what I'm saying.. /hmm

TBH, i'm waiting for the RO 2: LOTS and wanted to try it out since they said they're going to bring back the original game mechanics.
