// Option to force a player to create an e-mail.
// If a player have default e-mail, and if you activate this option, the player can only connect in the game (to arrive on a map) like follow:
// - Create at least 1 character
// - Select 1 character
// - Select DEL to enter his/her e-mail. (if OK is choosen, client says to the player: 'invalid e-mail')
// - If his/her e-mail is correct, the player enter in the game (an e-mail is saved definitively).

yea if your wan ip changes you may want to check to see if you can update it everytime it changes or consider using a static ip? i believe

Hmm. I know how to set up a dynamic ip, but how do i set up a static ip ;_;.

if you want for you to use Static IP

you have to contact your ISP for that

if you will use Static IP. you don't need No-IP + DUC anymore

but you can still use No-IP for DNS. if you want your Server to use Apache too

so that instead of them entering your Static IP they will enter your-ro-server.no-ip.org

Static IP Here at philippines Cost around 3k = 3MBS+Static but 3mbps sucks here @ ph

so i don't recommend lower that 14K

anyways

for Static IP ( again)

Just contact your ISP for that

well dynamic is not that bad

its better to use normal things

like mine

i used different kinds

* a Connection up to 2mbps ( Dual IP System )

* a Connection up to 10mbps

its for security reasons

but most important

if you have problems connecting with the WAN IP you have now

you just need to change your WAN IP via Restarting your modem + Router

that will help you with your problem with connection[]

yeah my modem keeps shutting down causing my WAN ip to change constantly.

but so to go online, all ips. must be in WAN ip correct?

@ TS

yes.

to go online all IP must be WAN IP

instead of LAN or 127.0.0.1 ( localhost )

@ TS

yes.

to go online all IP must be WAN IP

instead of LAN or 127.0.0.1 ( localhost )

So that means I must put my no-ip on all of them ;_______;

*EDIT* This is what happened when I used all WAN ips, I havent even put in my clientinfo.xml ;_;

Actually I don't know if this was just a weird scenario for me... but when I used to host my server...

I would PORT FORWARD my to MY LAN IP's, and simply use my LAN IP's in my server's configurations...

The only thing that needs to happen is the sclient needs the WAN IP... the router forwards the incoming connection to the WAN IP -> LAN IP, and this is why the server doesn't need anything else...

the server only exists on the subnet (and on the same machine most likely) you are not remotely connecting machines to different WAN IP's... so simply use your static LAN IP on the server, and then the WAN IP on the clientinfo

Can you explain on what to put for each IP. ;_;

For Char_Athena.conf:

For Map_Athena.conf

For Subnet_Athena.conf:

For Clientinfo.xml:

All of you guys are so confusing ;_;. What do you mean Port Forwarding LAN ips o_______o

I port forwarded already.

My Public IP is right now (Will change) : 76.208.159.145

Private IP is 192.168.1.67...

*EDIT* It doesn't show the thing anymore (picture 2posts above) But it says Failed to Connect to Server

Oh. But i don't wanna spend money D:. I'm poor you know xD. And my server, I don't like making people buy their equips with money. After my previous servers, which for their "support" constantly only says reinstall the server. Really? They only were after money. And didn't even give refunds etc if people lost credits due to bugged NPCs.

So if I end up paying, I'd have to make a donation system which I dislike.

well

having a server

you need to spend money too

don't always go with free

since free has disadvantages too

anyway

so is your problem fixed?

or not yet?

Actually it didn't work.

All WAN IP won't let me login to the server at all.

...

1. Denies Any Ping to your PC

2. Allow/Disallow Ports to be forward

3. Disable Remote Management
