I want to remove snow from Prontera.

Question

Posted (edited)

I guess because I'm using a december build, it's wintery, but I'm not sure how to fix this. I've used @clearweather, I've used @mapflag sakura (to basically replace the snow with sakura leaves if anything) and nothing seems to be working, even after warping, refreshing, restarting the server... It's not a big deal by any means, I'm just not fond of the effect in Prontera. I'm not sure if this goes here, but if it doesn't, tell me and I'll delete this and make it where it goes; or you can move it, that works too.

Edit: Solved! Thank you all.

Edit the etcinfo.txt inside your data.grf then put // at prontera.rsw and snow like that

weather#
//prontera.rsw#
//snow#
//weather#
//pay_arche.rsw#
//sakura#
weather#
comodo.rsw#
pokjuk#
//file end

A screenshot of the type of snow you're talking about might be helpful. If weather commands aren't clearing it then it might be part of the textures you're using.

Fair point. Attached is a screenshot from just moments ago. It's exhausting that it's been so many years and I have to try and remember everything lol

You can copy the ectinfo.txt file and put it into your custom grf.  Then you wont have to override the one in data.grf

i had the same and doing what was said on both custom and data.grf still snow falling. when i do warp to @snow it goes to prontera. anyone has an idea?

Check " ectinfo.txt " in data folder and " ectinfo.txt " in all GRF you're using.

If found some snow word then delete it.

I've solved the problem by this step.
