Visible damage on woe/gvg. How?

Question

Posted

How can I make players see damage on woe castles (versus opponent players) as well as in gvg maps? Besides hexing the client, Is there some kind of SRC edit for this? Its easier to change in SRC than patching a new client exe.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you guys.

Conf/Battle/Client.conf

hide_woe_dmg: No

// When set to yes, the damage field in packets sent from woe maps will be set

// to -1, making it impossible for GMs, Bots and Hexed clients to know the

// actual damage caused by attacks. (Note 1)

hide_woe_damage: no

I think this is not it. Because setting this to YES will only make the damage displayed to only 1 damage to hide real damage. Setting this to NO will give out the real damage BUT only GMs can see the damage and not by players. Players see no damage. What I want is for everyone to see real damage on woe and gvg. Not just GMs.

Thank you guys.

if i were to try id start with finding hide_woe_dmg in the scr and seeing where the gm check is and change that from gm -> anyone instead of the 1 damage.

I'm currently mid project so i cant help atm but give it a shot yourself, after my project i might have time to help.

i think this is client side. you need to hex you client to display the damage.

Does anyone know what to hex in client so that it will show damage in woe to normal players? I have a hexing program but I am not sure what to change and where to change.

Kindly help guys. Thanks.
