Custom card sprites for using with minigame made from the complaint about lucky roulette not being social stimulation..

Actually i intend to make the mini game inspired by manga toriko, see it here http://www.mangareader.net/toriko/164

Roughly,there're 2 players and each take turn picking cards, if the card match, one can choose to fight the monster from the card and get the points or pass it, the game is decided by points.

 

Another idea is to have players get some items or coupons to get the chance to draw the cards and get cash from the cards, there're 10 point cards to 250 point cards..

 

there're also hit and miss card same as in the manga...

consider there exists 400+ monster cards

1 for card background, 1 for monster card displays

 

@Emistry Nope i only created 1 for the back of the card and make it animated, then i create approximately another 160 monster front cards with the point number on the right corner categorizing by how strong the monsters are. Cos i only need some amount for the matching mini-game of around 40-50 cards mixing in strength

@kuro if you wanna test it, i'll put dropbox link on the topic in about half an hour after i finish drying my clothes (just finished washing), though it's still in early process as you can c in youtube i've only tested how well the script do about shuffling and picking, and the file i posted on thai forum include only 24 10 point cards sprites for testing with the scripts and the example text file for copying and paste to lub files (jobname and npcidentity), you need to change npc.h as well cos i use npcid 10114-10139 for this script.

 

ps1. about the shuffling algorithm, i created it myself, it might not be so good.

ps2. don't really wanna put it here after i test uploading my last script here and it took almost a month for someone to approve my script, sorry, feel like to complain, therefore every scripts of mine are still on the thai forum...

after all the talk, if you think you are already a man, do not use my idea and do not use my sprites, create your own things.

if i found out that you are just a kid after letting you decide things for a while then i feel uncomfortable and change my mind to not make any specific sprites for you and your friend's server, that's my rights because i do it for free.

If you're upset with that and blame me, remember this,

create your own ideas, create your own sprites, do not use what are mine.

But in the end, if you still said that you want to use my idea and my sprites to make your own script, you have to learn not to talk sh** on the owner without good reason, and what i said is right, though you are 18, you are still just a child. You need to accept these words to grow up.

 

if you still don't get it, i cannot explain anything anymore, you have to grow up to understand more things in the world.

it's some kinds like that, basically i think he is too childish so i decide not work with him and that's my personal opinion, i already said it's my fault, i didn't expect that before.

 

But i just couldn't bare with this kid especially when he said that it is funny that i said i did this for my pleasure while looking for so serious people to work with.

 

i said it's my hobby, yes i do it for my pleasure, for sharity and for social benefits.

This boy just don't understand that hobby for people like us can be a great work because we love to do it and we put our efforts in doing it so that people can benefit greatly from these things. When we create and distribute thing, the purpose of it is not for ourselves. It is for the community.

 

People like Borf who create ro map editor software, Browedit is also his hobby that he try to use his spare time to create it and make it better.

People like Olrog who use Browedit to create many magnificent maps for us and release many of his maps for free.

People like me who also try to make an example of creative utility between sprites and scripts, and to make some sprites universal, like what i am making is an animated score globe which show the score and which can be used in any kind of mini games or events.

 

Do you think it's funny that we put great efforts in our hobbies like this?

I never intended neither to do anything wrong nor to harm you before you insulted me for no reasons.

 

I can't tell you that you're wrong about me being childish because I won't know until I grow up and that's not the problem here, I just blamed you for telling me that you wanted to stop working with me in such an agressive way.

 

There's no problem in you telling me that I can't use your sprites, I told you a hundred times over that I respect your work and that I won't do anything on your idea without asking you, I even told you that if you allow me to do it, I'd send you a copy of the finished script.

I wouldn't have asked you to make sprites for me after the talk we had, I may be childish but I'm not stupid.

 

I'm not upset at all, we just had a little dispute like it happens sometimes and I'm not angry at you or whatever, I told you what I wanted to tell you and you did the same. I don't really like that little game of justifications trying to show each other who's right. In the end we'll just both get angry because we don't have the same point of view on something.

This is neither your fault nor mine, it's just that sometimes people don't agree on something and so they just can't be together.

I really liked the concept so I made the base concept a mini-game for my Summer Event:

 

 

Tokeiburu helped me with the randomizer. :]

 

Though I'm sure it'll be way cooler with the whole points value thing and letting 2 players go against each other.
