Anyone know what these files are for? i found them as part of archangel wing (the official garment)
they were both inside data/imf folder.

its not the act files fault . archangel wings are actually garments in game . make sure all the lua files inside your luafiles514/lua files/spreditinfo folder are proper it will work fine :-)

those are the files I saw in the spreditinfo folder.

hmm it looks like you are missing a few files - you can find all the lua files inside here http://svn6.assembla.com/svn/ClientSide/Lua_Project/lubs/
choose as per your client version.
if you want to make it a lower headgear then you will have to modify the sprite - no other choice
I have the same problem actually, neither actor1 or 2 works to move "layers" to the background/foreground, although actor2 shows the item on the right position and changing the "Priority Ref." seems to only working as a viewing tool, it doesn't change anything in the files.
by default all headgears show the sprite in front of the character and there is no way to change that. atleast not that i am aware of
I think it's an .act file problem. Act files handle the placement on sprite.
yes it does but act doesnt control which comes in front body/head or the sprite. It looks like kRO guys are using lua files for doing that for the new garments now.
Infact from what i saw the tables in the lua files are actually referring to the various ActID and FrameID for which the body comes in front and all the missing ones are the cases where the wing came in front.

what about the values in item_db.txt ? double check those as well (especially the view id .. needs to be 1001) - 1 missing comma can make your life miserable!!!

This is a fixed up version of the equilibrium wings (aka union wings/ gemini wings) sprite.
Issues fixed :
1) When you change from left to right the white and black wing switch sides.
2) Some issues in the act file (there were some frames where the sprite literally jumped off into the air)
3) There were a lot of spots in the Black wings
The pack contains the sprites, drop bmp as well as collection bmp all ready to use

according to their filename it's already a hint?
the spriterobeid are the new garment code to function the archangel wing, heroic backpack and devilwing(forgot the exact name).
OK but does that mean that the client uses pcjobname*.lua files to determine the jobnames in game?

Does anyone have the original white wing from which these wings where formed.
I used to have them like 2-3 years ago but now all my RO data from that time has gotten mixed up in by old HDD, I'm having a hard time finding anything . If some one could please upload it, that would be great.
I'm trying to fix up the sprite's orientation error (white and black portions flip when u turn towards right side). Ofcourse i will post up the fix once its done and credits go to the original author (if some one could let me know who that is )

packet_db.txt is inside the <your server location>/db folder.
find your client's list of packets from http://svn6.assembla.com/svn/ClientSide/Packets/Packet_db/
and verify u have those in your packet_db.txt if not add them.

its also the same format as data/luafiles514/lua files/chatwndinfo/chatwndinfo.lua
u can copy that and change the TabName values
the first one is Regular Log and the second one is Battle Log

Hi, is there anyway to encrypt sprites in RO but still be readable by the client?
I found one sprite from some old data folder i had from long back (dont remember which server it belonged to) but i'm not able to open it in any of the sprite viewer tools.
Normally this happens when the path to the file contains korean or unicode texts but i renamed it to proper alphabets and still no luck. so im guessing an encryption is in play?
Also i saw on one site that tga files can be used to make sprite files, but spr_conview don't have that option. Is there some other tool that can do this? - nevermind this part looks like i need actor for this one.

From which 2012 client version onwards does the client make use of iteminfo.lua ? right now im using 2012-04-10 and it doesnt seem to need this one or am I looking at this all wrong

there is also skilltreeview.lua or lub file in data\luafiles514\lua files\skillinfo with more detail.
as for the Misc tab it is there for skills you get from items/cards that you don't have naturally. For e.g. Heal from vitata card.
so now u wont have to minimize the skill window to see those
