  1. As far as i know garments aren't affected by lua files unless your showing them as sprites - custom robe system.

Assuming you skipped the scripts while pasting. the second field shouldn't have any spaces.

    Try 29991, Blue_Black_Valkyrie_Manteau,Blue Black Valkyrie Manteau,5,0,,500,,10,,1,0xFFFFFFFE,2,2,4,,1,1,0,

Also name the item, collection, drop sprites as Blue_Black_Valkyrie_Manteau.*

(if u plan to use bbvm.* then change the second field to bbvm as well).

  2. make sure u have updated the sprite name in accname.lua and proper view id in accessoryid.lua (same one u used in item_db text line).

Side Note : /slur Equilibrium Wings

@Taeko that's equilibrium wings drop sprite and item bmp /hum

  3. from what i saw the file, it is not limited to npcs, instead it refers to any means of travelling from one map to another (NPC, Warp portals, etc) - hence the name link i suppose?. the first value is also used in nav_linkdistance_krsak.lua as a means of identification of the npcs/warp portals.

and finally since it is in the navigation folder, i believe that this is used by the Navigation window in the game to help us move across maps. well thats my theory anyways ... correct me if i am wrong /pat

  4. Hi there!. i have been having the same problem with with 2012-06-18ragexeRE. the first issue i came across is the packet problem

    295491_2247970414330_983242915_n.jpg

this can be solved by patching 2012-06-18ragexeRE with Weediff2012Pack_v2.7 instead of Weediff2012Pack_v3.7.

NOTE: make sure you patch clients with WDGSkipPacketHeaderObfuscation.dll

well this worked for me... every other 2012 client through me the same packet error. heres a pre patched copy of mine

NOTE: also make sure that you reflect the changes in Packet_DB and MMO.H server side

NOTE: sclientinfo in [DATA/GRF] must reflect packet ver30 and langtype1

Now onto the translations: iv noticed that client 2012-06-18aRagexeRE loads descriptions from LUA and LUB. And seems to ignore the textnamestables in your GRF or DATA folder so both need to be translated in order for the descriptions to work.

example placing: /rag folder/system/itemInfo.lub and LUA

    Untitled.png

item descriptions are translated in itemInfo.lua insted of the old decriptiontabe txt files in [DATA/GRF] .... as iv noticed so far

    heres my itemInfo.lua

NOTE:apart from item names everything runs okay

as far as i know itemInfo.lub is the item name table

    Untitled2.png

Now i have perfect descriptions, but loose battle sprites and sound effects by adding a translated itemInfo.lub. Where the KR itemInfo.lub

works perfect (apart from being in korean and not english) but i havent found a more uptodate version of itemInfo.lub

heres my english itemInfo.lub and heres my korean itemInfo.lub

if someone could translate or if some knows a repo or post to an untodate LUA LUB set for 2012-06-18aRagexeRE

    hope it helps

    SOVLED

Using item converter i simply converted the tables in a LUA/LUB. DHUU! /pat

    itemInfo.lub set for 2012-06-18aRagexeRE

Hi may I ask which server manager is that you're using? I have been looking for one myself :-)

  5. I tried this in my local server and it works fine. I used the same item id and view id too. One issue i got was that there was an underscore missing in the sprite file names for female and male (instead of ³²_Wolf_Ears, the zip file contains the name ³²Wolf_Ears )

    Here's a snapshot => 281wxep.png

One more thing i noticed is that you haven't mentioned num2item*.txt files. Make sure you have updated them as well.

Can you post a snap of the exact issue you are getting.
