I got problem trying to recompile sometimes, but do the following might fix your issues...

  • Restart your pc
  • Try either release/debug mode on your Visual Studio
  • Try to use Visual Studio 2012 Express? It worked for me instead of using 2010 version somehow..
  • Delete your rAthena-10 folder which uses around 37~MBs and try again.

Tell me if you could fix it.

Using harmony will integrate your client with your server. Client's MD5 checksum will be taken and embedded to server, that if the MD5 checksum is different, client will be automatically rejected.

Harmony validates the MD5 checksum of the game exe. When logging in with a modified exe the server will detect illegal modifications and reject the login.

This will obviously happen if you change your client.

For more support (considering you're using Harmony), please contact / search on Harmony's community board.
