This thread will be updated time to time

 

This thread is all about the Ragnarok Online -kRO Official Episode List. I hope that we can close the Gap between Official and Private Servers. All we know that Private servers have CUSTOM FEATURES that makes them fun to play, and I think this thread will be the wake up call for us as a member of this community to help developing the emulator and fill in the blanks in the emulator. Lets make the rAthena a better emulator and be on track on what happening on kRO Server.

August 31, 2002

  • Alpha: Prontera village, Morocc village, alpha culvert and some other dungeons. Novice + basic classes, except magician which was never implemented. All maps from alpha were scrapped.
  • Beta 1: Prontera, Alberta, old Payon + Archer's village, Izlude + Byalan dungeon, Geffen + Geffen dungeon, Prontera Maze/Hidden temple, Mt. Mjolnir and Coal Mine dungeon, Orc Dungeon, Morocc + Pyramid and Sphinx dungeons. Magician class added.
  • Beta 2: Aldebaran and Clock Tower, Glast Heim, Ant Hell, Novice Grounds. Lutie was added for the Christmas event at the end of the beta. Obviously also a lot of game play changes, for instance cards were implemented in this version as well as 2-1 classes and PvP rooms.

Thanks for the reputation, lets help together so we can implement these game updates. as well we can fix the pre -renewal and renewal features of rathena. and maybe in future rathena will have a feature of Alpha Ragnarok Online or Beta Ragnarok Online

Episode 4: they also added Turtle Island, Monster Skill, also Guild Skill
Epsiode 5: they also added Class 2-2, added/modified some effects (status changes, skill animation, warp animation), Novice can't use weapon level 3 or above, added NPC Refiner

maybe just like mini games, it said on that moment

"Battle of Emperium is a new feature of war , which each team have to defend an Emperium. The winner is the team that can destroy enemy's Emperium.

Team at BoE can be can be incorporated from the combined guilds."

it had been held only for 2 teams, 2 Emperiums, 1 winner
