Blue Jem Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 how can work the patcher if my grf is encrypted. Quote
Kido Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 im not sure, but for logic i think that first you will need 2 copies, of your grf, 1 encrypted and one NOT encrypted edit the non encrypted one, when you finish, save it, create a copy, and then encrypt it leaving the safe copy alone then make the actualization with your patcher to use the encrypted one hope i helped a bit :3 Quote
Mr BrycE Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 i think you can still patch it. Well, that is if your using SecureGRF not sure about the others. Quote
Snow Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 the encrypter creates a dll file which you simply need to put in your main ro folder. Your patching files need to be encrypted as well (ofc) Quote
Blue Jem Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 i try but is not work cant read the sprite Quote
Kido Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 if i get over that problem i would just anounce to my players that they will need to download an "update" that "update" will be a new editable GRF so they may use the encrypted GRF content and a new one the problem is that you will end having many GRFs, but at least you'll be able to edit the main part good luck with that lady Quote
