For some reasons some anti-viruses think a lot of things contain viruses etc just because of they way it was designed. I had a problem with a patcher awhile ago where my anti-virus thought it contained malcious viruses :<

But some people are doubtful when their anti-virus rings the bell, thinking we're somehow trying to infect them (can't blame them for paying attention to their safety, that s a good attitude). So, there's nothing I can really do right ? @EvilPuncker: I have no clue tbh as I m not using AVG... I ll find myself a demo version and try it out, I'll post here about it. Thanks for the constructive comments. There you go: Both show same "threat" updated with screenshot Edited July 28, 2012 by iROnic

Thor patcher will get marked as threat by avg. It´s normal(?) i think? XD If it´s your game exe then it probably has to do with the hexing. Had that problem once by hexing something manually and by editing something via ressource edit.

So there's nothing to do except telling people to ignore/turn off AVG for the time they install ?
