Im using the latest SVN from rAthena and theres an issue with PvP.. Lemme rephrase everything..

When I turn the server on PK mode, I can't attack people in towns, fields or dungeons. When I get into a PvP map, I can't attack people either. I have to do @pvpoff and when I do, I can attack people. When I do @pvpon, I can no longer attack people.

Now, when I turn the server OFF of PK mode, I can attack In Town, I can Attack in Fields and Dungeons. When I go into a field, I turn @pvpon, I can no longer attack people. When I do @pvpoff, I can attack people.

Now, this is COMPLETELY BACKWARDS.. So, I don't get what's happening.. is this happening to anyone either?

So, server is obviously not in PK mode yet I still can attack people in Towns, Dungeons and Fields.. lovely.

yeah and Im completely lost on what to do. I removed all PvP NPCs. Funny thing is, when PK mode is off, there's no PvP timers in towns, fields or dungeons. but when I get into an actual PvP map with the mapflag, I see the timer.. =/

But I can still attack anywhere I want with PK mode off lol.. =/

No one else with the issue im guessing..

i'll take a stab at this later on i think. Do you think this can be reproduced? You said you used the latest rA and pk didn't work out of the box?

PK works, it's just a matter of configuring proper mapflags. I know cause i'm using it on my server and works on my up-to-date

local server.

Now, what I just did was I made a new folder and everything for rAthena r16111 got onto my server with ALL default NPCs, Default EVERYTHING! Nothing has been changed.

Im in the middle of Prontera, and I can attack another player.. with everything at default settings.. Why is that? Lol. PS: Renewal mechanics: OFF

Edit: With Renewal MODE ON I can still attack.. Is there something wrong with maybe my SQL DB that may be causing this?.. >.>

Well what do you know! It seems to be the the SQL.. What I did was a created a whole new SQL DB for rAthena 16111 and everything, made 2 accounts, maxed out level etc. and I clicked on my players, I can't attack. SO I was like okay.. should be fine now.. oh, but no.

When I added in my backup data from my other DB, got my chars in, and I can attack in Towns.. =/

Do you have any other custom NPC that enables killable?

Hmm did your backup contsin any custom scripts uou have used, maybe bow characters are flagged with something now

It's teh SQL DB =/. I've had all default NPCs and everything. Ive used entire new SQL DB everything worked perfectly fine. I couldn't hit anybody anywhere. Then, when I decided to transfer over my old SQL DB into the new ones, I was able to hit people in town again.

IN the end, it was teh SQL db lol.
