Syouji Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Sweet and Simple Indeed. You have some details around the map which is good. I see you probably haven't gotten to lightmaps yet so I'll give you a break on that~ Overall use of objects and textures, pretty solid. Its time to move up the ladder and try experimenting lights, effects, detailed terrain edits, finer details with objects & non-linear object placement, and potentially water. Good work for a 2nd map, keep learning as you are moving in the right direction! Giving a rating on this would feel unfair as you haven't experimented with all the editmodes yet or applied them all. Mappers who produce maps using all the editmodes would face a proper rating as I can evaluate in my own opinion how well the individual performed on the map as a whole. If I was to rate you as a beginner, I would give you an 8/10 based on your current knowledge of BrowEdit. Quote
