Map Izlude Error

Create a folder called data. Inside data place the map files. Create a folder in data called texture and then a folder in texture called À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º. Inside À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º create a folder called map and drop izlude's minimap bmp file in there.

Using GRYFF_SVN add the directory data and it will pull in all of the directories and files. A message will pop asking about ASCII and korean character translation. Just click YES. Then right click the folder and save as. Give it some name and you have a GRF file. Drop the GRF file in your RO folder and edit the data.ini to call your new GRF before data.grf by giving it a higher priority (higher priority = lower number. ex) GRF.. = 0 has a higher priority than GRF = 1.

When you run your client it should show the old izlude map now. Note: Dont forget to recache your old izlude map .GATs to map_cache.

i think you have use the wrong grf file the server to read first , make sure that your server read your own grf first then next the data.grf. don't make the server read the rdata.grf first.

That looks really messed up. Basically it looks like you're missing models which could have occured as you didn't load up data.grf properly. If you have a custom version of Izlude thats loading before the real izlude from data.grf check that. If you dont, then refer to Myrmiddon's response.

sir im still on the process of making a test server and basically when i was checking on the @go when i warp at izlude the map look like these, what do i need to do to ensure the data is being read first? im also using an updated data folder...

You will need to refer to your DATA.ini file in the main RO directory and through that configure what GRFs to call with priority. Generally you would call your server's GRF first and then the data.grf followed by rdata.grf.

So your DATA.ini is set properly to have your client read the GRFs in the correct order? I can't fully understand what you're trying to say with your reply. Sorry.

your first grf on data.ini messed up the models / map files I think. If you wish for the common izlude

try extract from data.grf and replace the models also the map files. and yeah check out your data

folder too. Maybe your client read the data folder first

After doing some research it turns out its not your DATA.ini or models or anything of that sort. You simply have the new izlude map. I have attached the old Izlude map to this post. Pack this in your GRF and make sure it takes priority over the data.grf which contains the newer izlude map so your old one loads first before it. (See Attached File). I have also attached the old izlude minimap bmp.

Old Izlude.7z

Hi all, Just a simple nooby question here. ;)

In what way would I add them to my GRF File? I mean like do I need to put them izlude files into

data/???:D? and then use the program to turn it into a GRF file... :)

Sorry but I haven't done this before, So I don't know where and how to do it this.

You installed it incorrectly. You need to make sure that either:

  1. If you added the izlude old map and minimap to a rodata folder and not a GRF, the client must read the data folder first before it reads the data.grf and rdata.grf
  2. If you made a GRF of this make sure you converted the unicode to korean using GRYFF_S and have the GRF be called first before the client reads data.grf or rdata.grf

@fjshadowz please follow Souji's guide

Simply use GRF Factory, add the directory data provided in this .7zip file and save as a GRF (x200).

then after that in your ragnarok folder you will find data.ini, edit that and put your own grf file as the main grf then next data.grf

you data.ini should be like this example,

1=custom.grf <---where you compile with the old izlude.gat, rsw, gnd and including the bmp file
2=data.grf
3=rdata.grf

You will need to find the previous pvp_y_1-2 map and have that called instead of the updated version. However why do all of that client work when you can just move your NPCs to new positions on the Izlude map? Its less work, less time and in the end you will be on top of the kRO updates.
