problem with rathena

i set up it correctly and set the ip's and the user pass of the server

my client is 2011-11-22a i use lua files of rytech and the data folder of rathena in the release section and miruku as my based client

here is the problem when i test the server and run it i click the client and when i login successfuly the client says failed to authenticate (5011)

or it says failed to connect to server rejected from the server

need to fix this fast

Please edit the file, 'trunk/src/common/mmo.h'

Change:

#ifndef PACKETVER
#define PACKETVER 20111116
//#define PACKETVER	20100730
#endif

To:

#ifndef PACKETVER
#define PACKETVER 20111122
//#define PACKETVER	20100730
#endif

Then re-compile your server, and try again. Remember to check to see if you have all the proper packets as well in 'trunk/db/packet_db.txt'.

i think it might be a lua problem, try to check if you have this in your data folder ChatWndInfo_U.lua and OptionInfo.lua they must be in the data folder, if you put them inside the grf youll get an error similar to what you have been experiencing.

i have the same problem. i have both ChanWndInfo_U.lua and OptionInfo.lua inside my data folder.

the client keep giving me

[string "buf"]:10: attempt to call global 'Iter_getTable' (a nil value) = when clicked.

and

Failed to authenticate. (5011) = when logging in.

im new to rathena, i decided to not use 3ceam anymore, since the project is now closed.

Rathena is already third jobs and renewal. 3ceam has been closed for a while so you should of moved on over to rathena long ago. Although rathena doesn't haven all third jobs in and working, they will soon plus they have a lot of updates. Thus, you should of switched to rathena or eathena and manually update your svn with updates from rathena.

rathena is very hard for me to configure..thats y i use 3ceam...cause its very easy to use
