Client problem setup file keep popping up

I have an issue using win xp. some of players can't run the client, everytime they run the exe client the setup file is always popping up.

I have no problems with this in terms of using windows 7, except in win xp most of my players are having that kind of problem.

Client used RagexeRE 2011 03 15a

anyone can help me with this?

But well I actually read one of the reply that you posted and I removed the 'Read Data Folder First' Diff and it worked.

Yet another error pop out as 'Character info size Error'.

awesome, is your src/common/mmo.h set to 20111122 and recompiled with visual studio

Question : How do I get to know the version of the client which is to be filled in the clientinfo.xml?

You can check that in the /db folder in the packet_db.txt and in /src/common/mmo.h ,also you set the packet_ver in the mmo.h

Got the same problem ung using re client 2010-06-29a i've tried those setup.exes stuff it didn't work.

oops fixed it.

I have provided a 3 different setup.exe

This may solve client issues. as it solved mine.

setup$.exe is the file i use for 2011-03-15a.
