Edit skill description (dunno where to post this. Sry!)

First of all, sry if this is the wrong place to ask this.
 

I wanna change description of skills. But really dont know how.
I could ¿disencript? the skilldesc.lub file, converting to lua and opening it with grf editor. But the lenguage es Korean ,i guess, but the emulator have the descrption in english. So i suppose this is not the right file. So my questions are:
1- Is this the right file? If not, where is it?

2-If this is the right one.... how can I implemente the changes later? Do I need to "re-encript" the file?

Still dunno how the game could read a de encripted file, if you say "just copy it"

are 4jobs.grf your custom grf, i yes put the file at this grf.

try this step.

1 create data folder and put the file like this path data/luafiles514/lua files/skillinfoz/skilldescript.lub

2. open 4jobs.grf using grf application, here as example using grf editor, at your grf righ click than choose add

3. pick data folder directore point no 1

4. then click add, wait until the progress bar finished.

5. click file and then pick save.

Thx my dear. And how should "implement" this type of files? Just by copying the file on the right folder make it works?

Me acordé que hablas español. La pregunta es si simplemente copiando el archivo en la carpeta correspondiente ya empieza a funcionar. O si hay que encriptar o compilar o algo.... Supongo que compilar "rAthena.sln", minimamente

Todo lo que tenga que ver con client side no se toca con el emulador, en este caso es client side y no tienes que compilar nada.

Solo copia y pega y ya esta, no tienes que modificar nada.

Descargue los archivos. Edité el archivo "skilldescript.lub" para corregir los textos que quería. Ahora, donde copio este archivo? Mi carpeta "data" está vacía. Y no se si debo "introducir" este archivo ("skilldescript.lub") en el archivo ".grf"

Data/Luafiles514/skillinfoz y pegas ahi, por lo general si estas editando cosas del server y tienes la opcion del exe de leer primero la carpeta data solo basta con crear las carpetas tal cual y pegar el archivo, en otro caso si solo necesitas inyectarlo a la data porque solo quieres eso debes de usar la aplicaccion de GRF Editor

Intente copiar y pegar un archivo .lub a la carpeta: Data/Luafiles514/skillinfoz y los cambios no se ven reflejados en el juego. (Recompile, cerre el server, lo volvi a abir, etc...)

Que pasos debo seguir para "inyectar" el archivo.... Te cuento que hice:

1)Descargue el archivo skillinfoz.lua desencriptado que permite leer y editar las desripciones de los skills

2)Edité dicho archivo. Modifique el texto de una habilidad para comprobar si funciona.

3)Copio el archivo skillinfoz.lua (modificado por mi) en la carpeta en la que estaba.

4)Abro el server

5)Los cambios NO se ven reflejados.

I think your client read GRF file instead of data folder, so you must import your modification data folder into your grf file.

I have no data folder. I mean, my data folder is empty. So, should I download the archives of the data folder de encripted and then configure the server to read that.... ?

no, just put the file into your custom grf file
