Hosting OS Suggestion

Both is suitable for hosting both have ups and downs
if you have a bit of knowledge in linux it's more good to use Linux, but if you don't have any knowledge on linux
it's easier to use windows but.. Windows is more pricy than linux and it uses more ram and cpu compare to linux. :))

Can you give me Advantage and Disadvantage on both OS please.
