Hosting OS Suggestion

Hi to all,

Guys may i hear your suggestion. What OS are more suitable for rAthena?

WINDOWS VPS or LINUX VPS?

Both is suitable for hosting both have ups and downs
if you have a bit of knowledge in linux it's more good to use Linux, but if you don't have any knowledge on linux
it's easier to use windows but.. Windows is more pricy than linux and it uses more ram and cpu compare to linux. :))

- Performance

- Security

- Easy to compile

 

Window for:

- Dummy

- Friendly UI

No need know everything. Just learn how to compile source and run server. Don't worry too much. Wiki will help you.

The different point is the compiler. Window use Visual Studio linux using ' make'
