nakano15 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I've tried with 3 diffed executables of Ragnarok Online, 2012-04-10, 2013-08-07 and 2015-11-04. All of them crash after opening, showing Windows 7's classic error window, "PrivateRO has stopped working". What am I doing wrong, or missing? Quote

I don't see how the mmo would make the client crash, it would throw a server error, not client crash. So that info is of no use. And DEP? No, I don't think so. Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a set of hardware and software technologies that perform additional checks on memory to help prevent malicious code from running on a system Data Execution Prevention (or DEP) monitors programs to ensure that memory is being used safely. If a program tries using memory incorrectly, DEP closes it. Quote

0 srhmike Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Yeah, i just tried opening it on mine, but then realized I have grf secured to the exe. So I cant really test. Ok, do you have, in your RO folder, System folder with those in there? the system folder cant be in the grf. Quote
