  1. Hi there.

I assume this isn't just the case with palette #661 but for all the custom palette colors combined with special suits. Sending you just one palette file would therefore not suffice.

Sprites such as Summer suits, Wedding wear, and Santa clothes do not by default support custom clothing palette colors. The easy remedy for the errors to stop occurring would be to change the "no" in the following sections  to "yes" (.../conf/battle/client.conf) and then perform a reboot or @reloadbattleconf.

// Do not display cloth colors for the wedding class?
// Note: Both save_clothcolor and wedding_modifydisplay have to be enabled
// for this option to take effect. Set this to yes if your cloth palettes
// pack doesn't has wedding palettes (or has less than the other jobs)
    wedding_ignorepalette: no

// Do not display cloth colors for the Xmas costume?
// Set this to yes if your cloth palettes pack doesn't have Xmas palettes (or has less than the other jobs)
    xmas_ignorepalette: no

// Do not display cloth colors for the Summer costume?
// Set this to yes if your cloth palettes pack doesn't have Summer palettes (or has less than the other jobs)
    summer_ignorepalette: no

// Do not display cloth colors for the Hanbok costume?
// Set this to yes if your cloth palettes pack doesn't have Hanbok palettes (or has less than the other jobs)
    hanbok_ignorepalette: no

// Do not display cloth colors for the Oktoberfest costume?
// Set this to yes if your cloth palettes pack doesn't have Oktoberfest palettes (or has less than the other jobs)
    oktoberfest_ignorepalette: no

Additional note: remember that - after doing this - you'll still need to set the character's clothing color in SQL back to default (0).

If you insist on having the different palettes work on the special outfits, my only suggestion is for you to copy all the palettes in the class/character palette directory and then paste them in the directory specified in the error box. Once done, rename the palettes (add 'santa' to the file name) accordingly, either manually or through a .bat prompt. Be warned though, doing this manually will take quite a lot of time. Unless you truly only need #661, then do this for just that one particular palette.

    Good luck!

  2. Missing an underscore in the accname.lub.

    Change:

        [ACCESSORY_IDs.ACCESSORY_darthmaulmask] = "darthmaulmask",

    Into:

        [ACCESSORY_IDs.ACCESSORY_darthmaulmask] = "_darthmaulmask",

Also, what client are you using? If 2011+, there's no need editting the data/*nametable.txt files. ?

P.s - Wrong section. Should be moved to Client-Side support.

  3. Hi guys. It's been a while! ♥

Some of you may remember that my new years resolution for 2020 was to present the community with a package of 6 (seasonal) Prontera edits. Well, the bad(?) news is that the target of 6 has become 8 (Valentine, Spring, Easter (almost identical to Spring), Summer, Autumn, Halloween, Winter & Christmas). The good news is that all 8 are officially done! In fact, the two remaining themes -- Spring & Summer -- I had in my bin for this year have been finished a few months ago already, but I never found time to showcase them.

Here's the Tropical/Summer edition. Spring shall be posted somewhere next week. ~

Note #1; The spinning Emperium crystals in the center are a custom model created by my dear friend Olrox. I take no credits for the object. ♥
Note #2; The rotating spirits you see on my character are a custom item created by my dear friend Haziel. I take no credits for the sprite. ♥

Lastly, some of you have asked why I've made edits to the old Prontera and not the new/Renewal one. The answer is quite simple; It has been years ago since I started this seasonal Prontera edit project, and the RE Pront didn't even exist at the time (and I simply didn't feel like redoing the ones that I already created). So there's that.  ; p

My site will be updated with recent additions in two weeks. Until then, feel free to contact me for inquiries. ?

@Najara Thank you so much for the post! It is extremely useful. ?

Just one more question, is there a way to enable this effect when I type /aura (OFF) and have it switch back to original aura when I type /aura (ON) again?

The simplified effect is very good for normal playing but I still want the original one for the sake of taking photo. Thank you in advance!

Hey there! Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately no, my simplified release replaces the current (official) aura instead of adding a secondary set.

There are two things you can do in a somewhat work-around sense though.

    1. A free solution would be to store my simplified auras in a secondary GRF (i.e name it Simplified.grf). Whenever you want to make screenshots, just launch your client without your DATA.ini reading that secondary (Simplified) GRF. Unfortunately though, this would still require you to relog (and prevents spontaneity).

    2. Alternatively, and probably more what you're looking for, would be to purchase @Functor's aura mod. It has commands like @show_auras that can toggle auras on and off. Also instead of replacing existing auras, your clients gets a set of 100+ new ones. I highly recommend the beautiful mod! Good luck. ?

It's nice for Valentine's Day. How about for Christmas Prontera? ? Hope you will make Christmas Prontera!! I will wait for it.

I've already created two winter Pronteras~ (actually, three if you count my old (2013) Christmas version).

    Here's the 2017 Christmas edition. <:

  6. Hi all!

To add up to my collection of Prontera themes, here's a showcase of a Valentine's edition I made the other day- it corresponds with the general layout/setup of my choice (which was done intentionally, in order to avoid NPC relocation).

The eyes may need a bit of adapting to it, but I think I kind of like how it turned out?   It's quite.... pink.?

    And here a video ~

Also! Next year's resolution is to release a full set of 6 Prontera maps in one package.

4/6 are already completed, and one of the last remaining two is already 50% done. With that said, this should be a feasible goal~

I hope you all have been well! ♥

  7. Honestly, I've never seen a palette error like that before... it's all weird and gibberish. O_o
Could it be that the files are corrupted? If you open your GRF Editor and select a palette, does it give an error message?

If not- I fear that this is exe related. There are a few clients out there that just don't support hair colors past a certain value.

  8. Hey there. I have a faint feeling that you've got the wrong 'Shared Head Palettes Type' dif enabled in NEMO.

According to the screenshot in your last post, you'll need type 1.

Also.... "above the 29 hairstyle i have error if i use any palette" - it would help a lot if we could see the error. ?

I dont see anything wrong in our side since we finished all the project from our past client. We just didnt reply to people who want a quotation./ok

Well, you guys' work is clearly great but where's the logic here? May I ask- if you're not willing to answer quotations, why do you put up a thread in the third party service section (which is bound to get you inquiries)?

    Just sheer curiosity.... ?

  10. Truly outstanding, Sage! Everything blends in so nicely, great job on the light and shadows as well (more specifically on giving the trees a realistic shading by having it cast branch-like shapes on the ground). Excellent work.

The only thing I could offer additional feed-back upon - if you allow me ? - is the choice of leaf model on top of/into the water. I don't know how it would look in-game but in the BE screen-shots some of these are quite stretched and therefore appear a little pixelized in comparison to the rest of the map. But other than that, I have nothing to add.

  11. Also known as cutins and renders, many of them already exists. You can find them in (r)data.grf under the following path:
    data/texture/À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º/illust

    In order to incorporate them in a script, you'll need to add something like cutin "filename",position;
More information can be found here.

    Good luck~
