Ceres and FluxCP are completely safe if used correctly. If settings are left at their defaults and modifications are applied that are not penetration tested correctly, bad things happen. There is absolutely nothing wrong with either CP package, merely the idiots who use them incorrectly. If you were hacked, you were obviously foolish enough to leave a security exploit to begin with such as a default password or misconfiguration security setting. It is not our job to teach you common sense- perhaps if you lack the proper understanding of basic security measurements server hosting is not for you. A game server as *Athena may be, basic security features/practices still apply to it.

Use my Basic rAthena data folder under client releases plus miruku.

DATA.INI is in there because kRO/kRE comes with it. Simple. I left the folder exactly as gravity had it. Thus, the change was unnecessary.

It came to my attention just recently that various server owners are in the same position as I. Many mid and high rate servers have items that they wish to drop at a lower than minimum drop rate. For instance, On iHeart-RO our minimum drop is 30%. Some items I want to drop at 1 and 2 percent, however this is impossible due to rate scaling. That is where this system comes in: I personally believe this should be commited to the server source if it would have enough use in the community. I want the opinion of other devs and the community. Thanks to Ind for making this useful system. Please reply with a vote and your reasoning.

If you set your server to use MD5, all the user passwords need to be in MD5, so yes...?

@iFoxkun Try delete the Option .lua files in your data folder. Could have something to do with it. Otherwise are you using the newest rA. I dont get these troubles. Try use it with my Miruku client (miruku.rathena.org)

I'm not releasing the torrent publicly till I have my VPS seeding. Right now my home server is seeding and it doesnt have the capacity to distribute to more than about 8 people. Hi All, Having recently completed my new RagRAY replacement installation client, I have set up a small website to host the .torrent file and tracker statistics. I'm an awful web designer, as I lack creativity. If someone wishes to whip something up in photoshop that looks a bit less hack and slash, it'd be appreciated. I can code it up without worry- I just need graphics to work with. The name of the "RagRAY" replacement is "Miruku". It means Milk in japanese. Ironic considering my name... I LIKE MILK K? I'll create a custom, up to date installer in a little. I'll then torrent it to my VPS. Once there, I'll allow people to leech it from my VPS. It'll take a day or two to seed to it.

I'm not that amazing at core development, as I'm actually a script/DB dev. I'm sure there are other members of the team capable of doing this. However, I feel that having it "sync" with the admin's password would be a greater security risk than it's current state. If someone gains the password of an admin then they basically have half of the masterPW access already.
