  2. so he's supposed to be on a @battleignore state? can't click, can't target? i know about the seals and how you can only deal damage if he's within the designated seal and it's activated. i didn't know he's supposed to have battleignore-like state. i will test again.
  3. i've done the quest on official servers and completed it numerous times. what i'm saying is, i can't hit bapho at all. even with ctrl click to do a normal attack. on official servers you can hit bapho even if you don't activate the seal. you can only deal 1 damage to him in that situation. i'm using the latest svn. to simplify: it's like bapho used @battleignore. with or without activating the seal while he's next to it.
  4. I observed a whole party do the sealed shrine instance. They get to baphomet and managed to lure him next to the seal. They activated the seal but can't attack baphomet. Based on my experience you should be able to attack baphomet for 1 damage if the seal is not activated and full damage if the seal is activated. I tired the quest myself and got to summon bapho, lure him to the seal and then activate plus attack. But the problem is, i can't target great demon bapho at all. I can damage him with aoe attacks. But target skills don't work at all. What could be the problem? I also tried summoning him outside the shrine but got the same results. I can't target him or even control click for a normal attack. Even with no seal, i should be able to deal 1 damage.

  6. nevermind, i'm not using your script anyway. i'm just trying to help you fine tune it. the situation i stated was pretty simple. i tested script got upto +16 compo bow attempted +17 next refine froze the client when i logged back in the bow was +20 tried this 4 times, same result. the console said there was an infinite loop. i was going to post a screenshot but i changed my mind. i've seen one too many of your condescending replies. thank you and have a good day.
  7. the client files themselves are updated upto the latest patches. it's the custom one i created that's has missing entries.
  8. nope that's not it, i figured it out. it's my resnametable.txt. the instance maps are not listed in my custom grf. i should be able to fix it with a patch. thanks for trying to help, i appreciate it.
  9. i use other chars to regenerate the instance and the same thing happens. other players tried and got the same result. and as for the sealed shrine quest, there are no errors and i can enter right away. but there are no mobs inside just like the endless tower. i wish there was some error in the console so i can figure out what's wrong. edit: the first floor is just a bunch of porings right? i don't see how i can error from those.
  10. Whenever i generate and enter endless tower, the client crashes. When i restart client and relog, i can enter but there are no monsters inside. There are no errors in the console, no one else in the server gets disconnected except party leader and members when we first enter. I am using latest svn, and made no modifications in the original ET script. Help? note: i'm using the endless cellar script, and it works fine. update: sealed shrine quest can be done, but there are no mobs in the instance.
  11. when using protection scroll from +16 onwards, the game will freeze, char disconnects and item becomes +20. it says something about infinite loop. will try to post screenshot later.
  12. why does it end so quickly? and it starts just as fast. people don't even get to click join because the game starts right away. sometimes the flag is in the middle, sometimes it's not there. and the game ends prematurely, sometimes players get warped out while holding the flag.

  17. awesome, thank you so much emistry. i'm learning alot just reading and reviewing the scripts you guys are helping other people with. i've only been doing this for like 3 days (including setting up server) so i'm a noob. i've also used some scripts from your collection (edited them to my preferences) and i hope you don't mind. it's amazing how a simple "search" button can help a total newbie like myself.
  18. what do i need to add if i want to require the guildmaster to take 2 castles instead of just one before he can activate the npc? kriem + horn for example.
