    Server Status

Already asked godaddy about it and they stand firm with their answer that they wont open such ports.
  4. Sorry i don't have the link for the guide. Just search the forum. Just found out this: Not sure if you can follow this.

    Server Status

is there other way to know status of server except for using default ports? like maybe a script in server.php that would ping server address and if its ping-able it will output online? This is because my webhost doesn't open ragnarok ports if shared hosting. Thanks!
  6. If you have edited something in source you need to recompile. By recompiling means you need to create the login/char/map-server again. If you're on windows you need to rebuild it. If you are using linux/centos, you need to use ./configure and make
  7. As Akkarin said, it's not an offline server rather a local server. If you want to try a stable client for 2017 try 2017-01-25RagexeRE. It's kind of stable since I'm using it and currently testing it. As for the Flux Control Panel, it's more on account panel/server panel (if im not mistaken) lol.
  8. What I do if there is existing cp_tables for flux in sql is I drop all of them and make fresh installment.
  9. Is your clientinfo like this? <clientinfo> <desc>Private Server</desc> <servicetype>korea</servicetype> <servertype>primary</servertype> <connection> <display>Local</display> <address>127.0.0.1</address> <port>6900</port> <version>56</version> <langtype>1</langtype> <registrationweb>ragnarokonline.com</registrationweb> <aid> <admin>2000000</admin> (insert here) <admin>NEW ID here</admin> </aid> </connection> </clientinfo>
  10. Just make sure in your clientinfo in the <aid></aid> section, the account ID of your event GM is there. (e.g. <aid>20000519</aid>)
  11. Thats good to hear. It will work now. Hehe
  12. Asked this in discord before, custom palettes above 29/33 doesn't work. If you want to make it work you need to buy it from authorized palette maker like kamshi if im not mistaken.
  13. I dont want to do some source edit right now since I am having problem with git pulling it causes lots of conflict. Lol or maybe use custom/scripts?
  14. How sad then hehe. Maybe someday we can support automatic closing hehe.
  15. So with this, we can't automatically close the dressroom? We need to click it manually? Its more convenient if it will be closed once you close the NPC dialog.
  16. Hi sadder, this doesn't close the dressroom. Already tested it. From the doc, it says it only opens the dressroom. It didn't say on how to close the dressroom automatically after closing the npc dialogue.
  17. yes tried it. didnt close it
  18. closedressroom doesn't work anymore?
  19. Sorry to confuse you. kRO Files are just base file for your server game client. There'a a full tutorial in the Client Release section LINK: If you follow the link above, it will answer most of the question you have. Some answer to your question though: If i use a client from 2017-01-25 and someone uses another client version. Does this work? - No only one client date is allowed to connect. If they connect with different date there will be packet issues. Is there a config that specifically says only client version 2017-01-25 is allowed to connect? - Yes its on src/config/packet.h and its under #define PACKETVER
  20. I assume you are using windows. And if yes, you can follow the guide provided by Wiki of rA. Link: https://github.com/rathena/rathena/wiki/Install-on-Windows For a game client to work you need base file such as client files. By this, you need to download kRO files. (disregard the ragexe in the kRO clients since they are not unpacked). There's a guide that gives information about it and I think its on the Development News Section. To make your server public, you need to do some routing to the net. If you want to use your own desktop you need to open ports/NATS/port forwarding and etc. (Not familiar with this) or just rent a VPS.
  21. If you're going to use it for your own local server. Might as well try the 2017 client since its supported in rAthena. I prefer to use 2017-01-25 because its stable for me. The only thing that's not working for me in that client is the connect to twitter via settings option and the gstorage check in the guild. Other than that its working fine. Yes your git should be up to date but since rA always release updates you should always pull the updates to make sure you are on the updated copy of rA. Regards!
  22. Yeap it is just weird cause some of the clients work for that patch while for this client it isnt. So in relation to that, i asked the question
