    Private servers, still worth it? (old admin, story etc.)

    Well, you probably heard of this, but RO tends to attract old players back somehow...

    I agree it may be related to nostalgia--you want to play with friends once again, or that you played other games but always find RO to be the best in the end (due to the gameplay, way of community communication, etc). I find RO to be simpler and easier to handle than some of the other games out there (like Perfect World, which really has amazing graphics), and that's the style of games I enjoy playing (RO, Gunbound, etc).

    I'm pretty sure private servers are worth it. They're worth the experience at least, to be a player, a GM, and/or an Administrator. And for those who want to recreate a server (not their first time managing the server), as long as you have the motivation to see your work through, then you should try it. It may be discouraging at first, but if you really improve the server and keep updating it, the fruits of your results will be yours for the taking (satisfcation mainly). The reason I became an Administrator before was for my friends, so I managed the server for the moment, experience, and memories that form. Even when I see a new player joining a server, I feel pretty content about it. "At least someone is trying out my work."

    Thanks for offering a patcher design to the public! It looks decent overall. Personally, I don't like the font for the logo, and the notice box makes the words not as visibly clear. That huge spot of black seems like there's something missing. But other than those points, great job with the design!

    This is a very nice and simple website. Good job with it!

    I agree with the menu bar suggestion. Add vertical bars in between each button and see how that goes =D. What's the hoverover effect for the buttons?

    I would suggest changing the colours for both the BR and Top200 buttons. I really like your notice/news box!

    Lastly, the small banner with the priest image... is that where you will show screenshots, event banners, and such? I think the image is kind of random if there is no description/words on it. Furthermore, is there the effect where a box of words will pop up and rotate? That'll be a nice feature to have.

    I like some of your signatures while others seem to have too many things/effects/colours going on for them. I especially like the signature you made for your server "where even monster(s) get along" (I think you forgot to add an "s") =D. Your 8th one (not including the first one hidden by the spoiler) is really nice and pretty <3. Good colour theme going there.

    Great job overall, and keep it up! I hope to see more of your signatures later <3.

    Very nice drawings you have here! Great job with them =D.

    Valkyrie Couple is very pretty--would love to see colours on it later if possible.

    The details put into the Yaoi Couple one is one of the better artworks. The fine marks and shading make a huge difference.

    Same with the Back to Back one! Reminds me of an anime series as well XD, though it really isn't.

    I like the Mastersmith one as it has colours. Maybe the same thing can be done for the other Mastersmith artwork later? Adding some more customs/wings might make them look even prettier xD.

    Glimpse of Eternity is pretty good as well. Nice shading, though the eyes may be a bit bigger than I expected. Nevertheless, good work!

    Keep up with drawing anime images because you're great at it! Can't wait to see more from you later on =D.

    What make you leave a private server?

    Well...

    1. When friends leave for another server (probably would have went with them).

    2. When the staff members no longer care for players or the server.

    3. When the server itself heads toward the wrong path (custom cards, donation items, etc that are too overbalanced).

    4. When the server has no new updates for a long while.

    5. When players start to bash and troll at you for no good reason.

    6. When it is difficult to start with a new server as the community is not as helpful or that there is too much at once (hence I like smaller servers).

    7. When there is a constant lag or downtime (foreshadowing the fate of the server).

    8. When there is a huge community debate with no side giving in, and that the forums is messed up as a result as well.

    9. When there is funny stuff behind the scenes, and players made a huge drama scene out of it all.

    10. When I lose interest in the server and decide to go server-hopping.

    I like the small updates you did with your website <3. Every little bit counts ;D. Personally, I don't like it too crowded, but you can experiment with what Jezu suggested and see how it goes when you have time =D.
