well, it is suggested for you to use a Microsoft Visual Studio. I suggest you to use Visual Studio 2010 (not 2012 nor 2013) try it

i did use that but same thing came out :

Error msg :

The application wont start

For Windows Compiling Use: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express

STEP 1:

Download Here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2zfddg8gh3phyt0/Microsoft_Visual_Basic_C++_2010_Express_+_Key.rar (Serial Key INCLUDED)

NOTE: Make sure you have Microsoft.NET Framework 4 in your computer.

yeap... think i should just reformat my pc then mybe it will work

Instead of formatting your PC why not use the correct compatible version of microsoft visual studio?

EDIT : Sorry, I meant Microsoft Visual C++ 2010

He is trying to compile rAthena-10.sdf using Microsoft Visual C++ which is rAthena-10.sdf is not a Microsoft Visual Studio Solution type. rAthena-10.sdf is an SQL Server Compact Edition Database File type that's why he is getting error (The application cannot start)

NOTE: Each version of Visual Studio prior to Visual Studio 2010 is tied to a specific .NET framework.
