Hello!

After our recent update and compile, the compiler did not create the *server*_sql (eg: map-server_sql) files which with we started the server in sql-using mode. Where did they go? How to start the server in sql mode now?

Note: (we are using Linux, so bat and exe is off question)

THX!

you can refer Compiling

beside it could be your compiling failed...so it doesnt create these files that required to run the server.

Hi Antares,

I believe they discarded the *_sql portion, the 'map-server' should be the one which you are looking for.

But 'map-server' isn't the one with the txt database?

TXT servers were dropped long ago, the "_sql" suffix was no longer necessary.

Thank you all guys for the quick responses :) First I was afraid to start the no '_sql' servers but everything is fine.
