No guide is really necessary for that

1.1 Drop SPR is a basic sprite made up of 1 frame, the 24x24px bmp item image. Act is the same that other sprites use for drop sprites.

1.2 Collection image is a BMP image of 75x100px size

1.3 24x24px 8 bit BMP image, with a #FF00FF color as BG color (that must also be the first color in the color table. Make sure it is, otherwise there will be an error probably)

2. Use another official/custom sprite&act as reference.

3. You can't. Each job use it's own act.

4. If you are using a reference, yes.

4-2. Showcase section :P.

Thanks for replying sir Devil I have some more questions:

1. I made a custom job already, how do I make the act? I know how to use the actOR and actOR 2 for items but not jobs.

2. I noticed there are some CUSTOM weapons for 2 or more classes, are the act file the same?

3. Is there a standard body size for a job? I'm planning to make a custom attack animation for my custom.

4. Is it ok to make a job with different animations from another job?

 Example: Walk animation- Assassin

                Attack animation-Taekwon

This is the least what my knowledge about spriting can give you... xD (thanks to Sir DevilEvil's Tutorials :D)

1. You can copy an official RO job sprites then paste it to your custom RO job folder, then using actOR replace it by "Saving as or just Save".

2. Maybe the sprites are the same but the .act files not. There are act files for each jobs.

3. Use an official RO Designs as a body Reference.

4. Yes

Thanks... xD

well usually what you do is add an extra bmp image with your signature/banner and ofcourse same palette as your sprite to your spr file at the end.

dont refer this image in your act file and it wont show up in the game but it will be there if you directly view the spr file (using sprconview for e.g.)

Open SPR in SPR Conview: Palette > Open > Open the palette which changes the color of your frames. Lesson III of the spriting academy has a video for that (even if you don't understand the language, you can still see the process, which is quite easy)

Question:

Is there any faster way to add the frames of an animated headgear?

I finished the act00 already. And I want all the frames and coordinates be the same as the other actxx

Is it possible?

Sorry if my post doesn't make any sense
