So I was randomly watching RO videos when I came across this one and the player in this video has a red lightning effect(this isn't the first video I've seen it in)

Maybe I'm missing something but is there something like this already in rA?

We have more than 1 possibility to that.

I remember there is a @aura command (eAmod feature) that indeed, has that aura in that video. I can't say if we have a free version of this out there.

I think I found something from eA forums that does it...I'll need to test it out.

i think so, you can put a callfunc "x_function"; in OnEquip_Script ( item) and in the function atcommand "@effect 418"+strcharinfo(0);

Example:

2681,Republic_Ring,Republic Anniversary Ring,5,20,,100,,0,,0,0xFFFFFFFF,7,2,136,,0,0,0,{},{callfunc "On_Aura";},{callfunc "Off_Aura";}

Function:

function script On_Aura {
atcommand "@effect 418"+strcharinfo(0);
}

function script Off_Aura {
atcommand "@refresh"+strcharinfo(0);
}

this disappears on mapa change, maybe some type of check on the item that contain the function

You said it by your own words. It was in Graphics Support. We are not able to give you support for a merly new function like the one you are asking.

Since you are asking for a new script function that will allow you to show another aura besides the default one, I thought the best idea was to move this to Script Requests.

Probably this would fit also into database requests. But since it is necessary to make your character to continue showing the aura, under some extra parameters I thought this was the correct area.
