1) Client is not reading the updates in your grf (make sure your grf is first in the list in your data.ini file).

2) if your modifying stuff in data folder then read data folder first diff patch should be enabled. (But this is known to provoke other issues with the setup.exe file for 2012 clients as far as i have seen).

you must edit idnum2itemresnametable and num2itemresnametable, then add the item number with its corresponding sprite.

why do you have those brackets in data.ini?

it should be =>

0=mydata,grf

1=rdata.grf

2=data.grf

and no you dont need to change conf.grf in server

the sprite may not be inside your grf. or mistypes the sprite name.

First of all I'd like to make some things clear

1. Check your data folder if there is an existing idnum2itemdesctable.txt, idnum2itemdisplaynametable.txt, idnum2itemresnametable.txt

How? -- ragnarok folder/data/ ------------- you can see it there

Why? -- because all RAGNAROK EXE reads the data folder first before the grf it self

Now delete those if you seen one

That's for now just to clarify some things /heh

newer client are using this file for item stuff..

http://subversion.as...em/itemInfo.lua

so you have to edit / update this files for all your custom items...

not the files inside your Data Folder anymore....

it's inside System Folder...

@mrlongshen

your previous post above are not necessary..
