how to play ragnarok in ubuntu??

im using wine..but it's still doesn't if im run my hexed client..can u help me?tutor for playing ragnarok in ubuntu/linux?

I realize you have probably figured everything out since you posted but I thought I'd follow up so others could get some understanding. You can install playonlinux in 12.04 and 12.10 that I've tested and have worked. Once you've install playonlinux you should have a default wineprefix (wineprefix = environment wine sets up for running Windows applications) that will run the game client without needing any tweaking. Simply navigate to the folder and run the client and you should be playing. If you find you need to change anything (as far as WINE/Playonlinux goes) you should go to the dash and type in "wine" and you will be presented with a few tools that PlayOnLinux installs so that you can change some of Wine's settings.

Using Wine can be tough at first but once you've played around with it you will find you are able to install some things for Windows in Ubuntu that won't even run on WIN7/8. If you have any questions or need further assistance I'd be more than willing to assist. Also, if you've already fooled around with your installation of WINE a lot you may need to uninstall and reinstall playonlinux/wine.

yeah... its lagg.. mybe its your wine.. cuz im using btr5(just for testing) it having some kind of lagg... it not lagg from the connection its lagg like mouse is rolling so slow.... =="

You can use winetricks.

 

Install and open winetricks

 

               choose "Select the default wineprefix" ,

and then choose "Install a Windows DLL or component",

and then choose "vb6run" . "vcrun6" . "vcrun6sp6" . "vcrun2008" and "vcrun2010" to install.

 

After winetricks done, install RO, and play.

 

It' work in TwRO . EuRO and kRO(20130703 Ragexe and Diff).

 

One problem for kRO(20130703 Ragexe and Diff) is ...can't play full screen...
