Yonko Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 How will figure or traced out the Ip who DDOS me? I used CentOS but seems my DDOS protection CloudFlare doesn't handle DDOS attacks. How will i see those ip and block it thanks Quote
Grunger Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 (edited) Unfortunately, there isn't really much you can do. You can check out some hosts that offer DDoS protection, iirc Asura Hosting is good for this. Edited November 26, 2012 by Grunger Quote
ICEROCK Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 how can you sure that youve been attack? rAthena cant help you about ddos problems its a matter with your host provider. i suggest check your dstats to see incoming connections. you wont see any ip though but you can see if someone is attacking you so you can immediately report to your host provider and they can check and work on it as well. Jelly Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 (edited) You can use fail2ban diffs from rathena.ru ! just check download section. Setup nginx, google information about DS flood protection. Edited November 28, 2012 by Jelly Quote
Yonko Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 yeah im contacting the host of mine, but seems their DDOS protection filter doesn't handle the situation. So i barely to take action on my own. I read that there's a conf file in confs file of SVN that a little DDOS protection? Quote
Jelly Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 If someone attack your website on DS, configure of rAthena doesn't work. Quote
Asura Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Hi wiideliva, There is nothing that you can do against a DDOS attack; it is solely the host and the datacenter's responsibility. No matter how you configure your software to protect against an attack, a DDOS can overwhelm your port capacity (10mbit/100mbit/1Gbit ports) and still cut off connections to your server. Quote
