Fail connect, how to play in local?

Hi guys, i'm trying again to re open my RO server and got a little problem, i cannot connect to the server, login char and map work fine but still cannot get into the server, i've made a grf putting a data folder + the clientinfo nicely compiled into the ragnarok folder.

How i have to modify the server to play in local? So i can check if the problem is the router port or it's a bigger problem, thank you for reading.. if you need some screens i can screen you everything.. just tell me what you need to check.

on all conf files: set all ip to 127.0.0.1

then, unblock port 3306, 6900, 5121, 6121 from firewall / antivirus. it should do the trick.

on clientinfo.xml, change <address>xxxxxxxxxx</address> to <address>127.0.0.1</address>

I think you dont need to port forward,

when playing just on LAN,

in your char_athena put your LAN IP

in your map_athena put your LAN IP

in your subnet_athena put subnet: 255.0.0.0:127.0.0.1:127.0.0.1

then Recomplile,

in your clientinfo.xml put 127.0.0.1 in addresss

then Rebuild your grf,

in data.ini make sure you put the right name of grf,

if I'm not mistaken, changing subnet_athena.conf doesn't need to recompile your server. it just needs you to restart it..

if he is going to play locally (only he, in 1 computer), port forwarding isn't necessary. even so on LAN. otherwise, he made his own local dns server and inside the clientinfo is set so..

i don't think so.. i did download a 2012 exe and used shin diff patcher, where i have to put that dll?

ok, i added that dll into the weegen and diffed again.. now i can create the char but when i try to log it in...

open your db/packet_db.txt and change the following:

packet_db_ver: xxxxx

into

packet_db_ver: default

weird, I can't find any of your packets from my packet_db. or is it my packet_db outdated? O.o
