trickzjen23 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Hello is it even possible to encrypt my clientinfo.xml? I tried some encrypting program called Securegrf and they do not work. Please help Quote
clydelion Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I don't know a way to encrypt clientinfo.xml, but there is a way to change that filename read by the client from 'clientinfo.xml' to something like 'item_names.lub' (a way to hide it from others) Just open the EXE using any hex editor, and search for the string clientinfo.xml, and change it to any name with the same length. trickzjen23 Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 that works... thank you very much =) Can it be in the same format though? The format is different, it doesn't let me convert my clientinfo.lua to clientinfo.lub Quote
clydelion Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 lol what? don't use a converter. just rename it. You're just hiding it from other people. Quote

Freya Jorgenson Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 But I have seen in other servers a really different file format and names.. it was even unidentified. All files are hidden even the texture folder >.< Quote
Judas Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 it's possible i guess, there are different client protectors and ecryption available on the web Quote
Freya Jorgenson Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I wish I know how to use one . Prolly Imma hit some guides soon to learn those things. Quote
