http://rathena.org/board/topic/67929-2nd-trans-clothing-palettes/

I've re-downloaded a fresh copy of rAthena Basic, unbolloxed it, sent out a patch file that was made with Thor Patcher. The palettes are still bugged. Can anybody help me out? Really need to fix this.

Why would you need to do that ? Just get the Dyes from the data folder and transfer them over to your data folder o-O. There's no reason why you would need to do that with the already made dyes in the folder.

I use a grf, haha. But uhmm. I think I've tried that method already, still wouldn't work.

Still doesn't work.

OK,

Use it as a data folder. See if it works.

If it doesn´t : report back and give us the full details like the path to one of the palette files that don´t work.

And use a client without "ignore missing palette errors". That way you should know whats wrong.

Something is wrong there.

The client calls for a non-existing palette. // old sin cross palette

The client should however ask for ¾î¼¼½Å_³²_4.pal. (shared palette)

What client are you using?

Are you sure that you are using the 2011-03-15 client exe?

Because I also used that one before and never got any errors like this.

Well your fix would be looking for a palette file that contains the single ones.

This:

http://rathena.org/wiki/Reference_Sheet

is how the palettes are named.

Most of the clients use shared palettes. Like rouge/assassin/sinx all use ¾î¼¼½Å.pal.

But your client somehow doesn´t. So you will need it exactly like the wiki page.

Thanks! I'll let you know if I still encounter any problems, going to do this right now.

What patcher did you use to merge it with your GRF?

IF you used Thor Patcher, you have to choose either Ansii or Unicode depending on the names of your folder. If you see ¾î¼¼½Å_³²_4.pal when browsing through your source DATA folder, you should choose Ansii, if you can see korean filenames, choose ANSI.

Yeah, I've done that. Still didn't work, I even made 2 patches one with Ansii and the other with Unicode. Both of them didn't work.

I unbolloxed the source DATA folder, btw.
