Elijah23 Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Hello everyone, so we can't find the source of our server's crash and we're finding hard to know because its not creating any core files.. Ulimit -c is alreay unlimited... ./configure --enable-debug=gdb is already set too.. But still no core files when the server crash.. But I noticed something weird... In my config.status I can see this even i have ./configure --enable-debug=gdb #! /bin/sh# Generated by configure. # Run this file to recreate the current configuration. # Compiler output produced by configure, useful for debugging # configure, is in config.log if it exists. debug=false ac_cs_recheck=false ac_cs_silent=false SHELL=${CONFIG_SHELL-/bin/sh} Thanks in advance.. Elijah23 Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 bump for this... Just want to add question too... If in the conf files, for example char_athena.conf I have set the char IP to the IP address of the server then at the map_athena.conf I have set the char IP to 127.0.0.1 Will this cause a conflict? thanks Quote
Asura Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Hi wakoko321, Putting '127.0.0.1' (localhost) should not create any conflict; the only possible conflict is if you use the same ports per map/char/login server, they require different ports to operate. You are missing 1 step with enabling 'soft core'; you may find the instruction in this following thread. http://rathena.org/board/topic/53447-how-to-enable-crashcore-dumps-in-your-server-linux/ Quote
