Question

Posted (edited)

I followed the video part way through, then I couldn't get any further because of the error below:

Query_Browser_Error.jpg

I set my SQL Browser as it was in the video, but you can see yourself:

Query_Browser_Set_up_Error.jpg

I've been trying to find out how to fix this for awhile now.. Is it because the version of My SQL I have is too old? I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this or not.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

~Thank you!

CURRENT ERROR BELOW!

I fixed the above error.. Sort of, because I can log into My SQL and edit whatever I need, I started the server up and I get this error:

Server_Error.jpg

If there's anyway to fix it, please let me know!!

~Thanks again!

Hi I have the same problem as well, I have the db information set up correctly in the inter_athena.conf file

// MySQL Character SQL server

char_server_ip: 127.0.0.1

char_server_port: 3306

char_server_id: root

char_server_pw: rathena

char_server_db: rathena

// MySQL Map SQL Server

map_server_ip: 127.0.0.1

map_server_port: 3306

map_server_id: root

map_server_pw: rathena

map_server_db: rathena

// MySQL Log SQL Database

log_db_ip: 127.0.0.1

log_db_port: 3306

log_db_id: root

log_db_pw: rathena

log_db_db: logs

log_codepage:

But I get the same errors as the OP, could anyone please help me with this.

I added some SOPs in the c code to see if the db values were passed properly and there is no problem there.

MySQL can sometimes be quite picky - so make sure your root user can logon from both localhost and 127.0.0.1. root should have been granted access to your RO db by default, but check just to make sure :P

Also, make sure you actually set a password for root (not that you should be using root... you should be using a defined user without grant privs.. but nevermind).

You haven't setup a logs database.
