Question

Posted (edited)

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a pre-renewal server, and already did the instructions on http://rathena.org/w...fig.2Frenewal.h and already recompile it.

The problem is that some itens are showing different values like Full Plate Armor for example, on item_db.txt it has a DEF of 10 but in a game the DEF is 70.

I made some research (google :) ) and discovered that is its the defense value for Renewal, like we can see:

- For renewal http://ratemyserver....&small=1&back=1

- For pre-renewal http://ratemyserver....&small=1&back=1

I revised the configuration on renewal.h file (everything is ok) and recompile the source again and again, but the problem still continues.

Please, I want/need a full pre-renewal server. How can I fix that?

You've made sure that EVERY line in Renewal.h is commented out? Also, are you sure you're looking in pre-re/item_db folder?

Also, is your server using item_db SQL settings or text format?

Hi, thanks for reply.

Well, my src/config/renewal.h file is all commented and I'm using the TXT item_db. This can be confirmed on log output when I start the server:

[status]: Done reading '6121' entries in 'pre-re/item_db.txt'.

I opened this file, and there the Defense for the Full Plate is 10.

But, in client is 70.

I'm using rAthena revision 16405.

Some idea?

Thanks for reply, Santa Poring.

I find the answer yesterday, but to was too late and I was to sleep :)

The problem, as you said, are the files on the client side. I discovered that my client data is for a Renewal server. The items have the Renewal description, but when used by a char, what works is the pre-renewal values.

Thanks for Ghostring too for the help ;)

But now, where can I find a data for pre-renewal?
