Hide Data.ini

Is hiding data.ini possible? like, it would not appear in the installer? coz this is the only way i can think of to prevent grf users (no delay grf.)

encrypte your GRF..

use GameGuard

rename your data.ini

etc......

well...it did work from some dumb player..xD

renamed the Data.ini that you use...but remain another with original name

they will go edit the data.ini instead of your custom renamed data.ini..

haha ~

but still not the best way..

for encryption...

go eathena..and search for GRF Secure..or etc...

or buy Harmony..

Harmony can't detect edited grfs :| Ok, ill see the grf secure.

on the other side, you must have a backed up grf of yours before making it public, if you don't have the original grf of your server, and you already encrypt your grf, it would be disaster to you because the 'GRF Secure' will make your grf griberrish.

hex the client. search for string: data.ini, ignore cases. when found, change it to something else. save the hexed .exe and rename the data.ini.

works on me
