For example, Item shadow drop? or things listed in the kRO maintenances?

• Battleground info -> Can be translated, but no point if the functionality isn't there [Most people just hide the icon]

• Create a Character lettering at the top -> Hard Coded in Client
  

So far the ones working on the client is the shadow on new item, and shadow adjustment on monsters

Battleground as in, when you click the button, the translation there (when the big window opens up). Also, no packet supports it yet? Maybe, we can get yommy's packet project to find out the packet for it

And for Mini-Icons, I mean, when you hover the mouse over it, there are gibberish lettering.

like on the lightmap? Most of thise icons should be translated if you have the towninfo lub file

Okay, the Mini-map, top right corner, correct? There are Mini-Icons in every single (Town) map you visit indicating where the Pub is, Inn, Dealer, etc. When you click on the mini icon, you automatically get red arrows on the ground showing you how to get to that place, etc. Now, when you just hover you mouse over it, there are gibberish letters/words.

Is this fixed in the Towninfo file? If so, how? I've checked it, and there's no "sentences" or "words" that can be changed. If not, I'm guessing it's in the msgstringtable?

hmm simply hovering then should be solved by towninfo since that just tells users either inn blacksmith etc

But for clicking them then that means navigation arrows

And yes they can be edited via msgstring table

yeah towninfo corrects that problem simply save as townifo.lub

i dont lua to lub converter anymore since

It is a waste of time. I open the towninfo.lua file in notepad++

and file save as towninfo.lub, works perfect

Um, I have a concern.. Whenever kRO updates, their files will overwrite whatever is in the System/ folder. Thus, if you have a re-worded/re-written iteminfo.lub, it'll be overwritten by kRO's update.

What's the point then of updating it? =/

thats why I usually change the filename in hex editor to something else besides iteminfo

Btw, I have a question, what are the lines for the inventory section? For, Item, Equipment, Usable, and Personal tabs?

I only got the lines for Personal and Equipment.. =/ Trying to find the Usable and Etc.
