Very weird error...

I've got my servers up and running fine. They connect properly to each other.

My Hex client seems ok too, i can start up RO and log in with no problems... Untill i reach the actual game.

The starting area for my server is totally blacked out! it doesnt exist and i cant walk into the area..

Pls help ty >.<

Go to your char_athena.conf and look for these lines:

// Start point, Map name followed by coordinates (x,y)
start_point:

Change it to something like:

// Start point, Map name followed by coordinates (x,y)
start_point: prontera,155,184

Seems like your map is missing portals, hence why you cannot move.

I did what u suggested...

But something is really wrong.

I went to prontera and there are totally no NPCs?!?

This is the refinement shop in prontera: its totally empty!?

and i went to the field just outside prontera and there are totally no mobs?!

There's no monster at all in the whole map!

idk wads going on.. seems that onli the map is in place, the NPCs are all gone... no NPCs, no mobs...

Is this a newly checked out Svn? if it is that shouldn't happen or your packetver in your mmo.h is different with your client date.

Have you checked /npc folder? the bunch of script_*****.conf there.?

Suggestion: use this client

I see your client is quite old...you should use 2011-03-15 instead p: seems like your client's at fault there.

Now the NPCs and all that are alright... but im getting LUA errors:

I DLed the latest fullDATA [Ragnarok Renewel English Data w/ Lua's] ~-~ [updated on 2011-04-17

but im still getting Lua errors... and my hotkeys dun work >.<

is there something im missing?

The point isnt getting random updated lua's...you need the right lua files for your client.

don't use load lua before lub, and download the lub files for that date

And i have another problem.. >.< my armour doesnt work..

When i equip any type of armour, my DEF doesnt go up at all. Its as though i dun have any armour equipped..

Wad do i need to do to solve this? Thx in advance >.<

Ok nvm... i realised this is a bug for rev 16084.
