Client crashes after server selection

Hello everyone, I tried to update my client version to 2018-05-30b and the packet loads fine in the server with no errors (and it reads the correct packet date for the client) but for some reason the client always crashes after selecting the server. I can never make it to the character selection screen no matter what I diff my client with. I tried the suggestions for difs to use and have used the updated nemo for the 2018 clients. I also checked my sclientinfo. Any ideas?

Similar problem here.. I can get to the character selection but the client crashes after loading bar reached 100% ?

If using legacy client exe with new data and grf can be any issues.

@4144 I got the same problem with this . No error from map server . I already do that thing from herc.  I patch my full clean Korean Client RO folder using latest Ai4rei patcher . Any idea how to solve this ? or can you provide working client and diff so we can test it out.

probably your issue what you using too new ro folder and old exe

try search older folder with closer to your client exe versions

Im using Collection KRO Client from herc by Ridley and im using client 2018-06-20. And update it using Latest Ai4rei Patcher to be exact i download that patcher on feb 28,2019 and im using your nemo 4144  .

See dates. grf/data end of 2018, but your exe from middle of 2018. I think here is issue.

So should i try to use end of 2018 client too ? around 2018-12-xx ? . Im using just a recommended patch just to try to get passed thru on character selection .  Currently im trying to do this right now i read lot of topic and suddenly i see this

rathena cant works with this clients.

for new clients can works some private servers only and hercules. But if you stuck with rathena, better try search older data/grf

Any updates with this?

I'm having the same problem. Game closes after selecting the server: never seeing the char selection.

BUT: some players can play normailly without crashes. But some players cant, they never sees the char selection.

Relevant: the players that the client crashes after server selection, are russian or philippine, PLUS, they dont see english signs in the interface, they see korean.

This should not be possible, since they're using the same data folder that the guys that see english signs.

What can possible force their RO read different files?
