sharmey Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) Hello everybody I installed a few days ago my flux cp and now I have the problem, when somebody registers himself the e-mail to confirm the account won't be send. My problem isn't really that they don't confirm it, but when they forgot their password the e-mail to reset the password won't be send either. The mail from our server is linked to our domain mail, not from gmail by example. The mail server is on the same server with the flux cp. (Sorry for my bad english T_T) Hopefully you know what I mean and maybe someone can help me. Thanks Edited February 18, 2018 by sharmey
0 Daegaladh Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 That's a misconfiguration in your webhost, or you haven't installed sendmail/postfix/etc in order to use the default php mail. Alternatively you can configure SMTP sending on flux application.php file.
0 Akkarin Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 SMTP is recommended. As Daegaladh mentioned this is generally a misconfiguration by your host, more often than not though it's due to a missing SPF DNS record so your users' mailboxes are rejecting the mail as it can't be recognised as coming from an authenticated source.
